Jamal Sandiford is a disciplined and forward-looking young Barbadian leader whose experience spans skilled trades, creative industries, and grassroots political engagement. He brings to public life a grounded perspective shaped by hard work, teamwork, and direct engagement with people.

Jamal completed his studies in Culinary Arts at the Barbados Vocational Training Board, graduating as the 2018 Valedictorian. He later became a Silver Medalist in the WorldSkills Barbados Programme. Jamal has worked as a chef in leading hotels and restaurants, gaining experience in high-pressure environments where accountability and performance matter.

Alongside this, he developed skills in photography, music, and event promotion, including work as a DJ locally and internationally. This keeps him closely connected to the realities of Barbadians.

He’s the Chairman of the St. Michael North East Branch and a former Vice President of the Young Democrats. Grounded, people-centred, and solutions-focused, Jamal stands ready to serve with energy, discipline, and a commitment to progress.
