Democratic Labour Party Commission on Crime Report
On August 6th the Opposition Democratic Labour Party completed what the government of the day promised repeatedly but could not. The Opposition Team under the chairmanship of Comrade Verla DePeiza released its Report from the Commission of Crime of the Democratic Labour Party. This report culminates months of work, engagement, research, tough questions and an honest look at ourselves as a country and a people. Rather than the repeated promises and optics which this Government continues to provide, this document represents the blueprint for tackling the issue of crime in Barbados in a wholistic and systematic way.
