Professionally, Ryan has worked in finance since 2002, with experience in accounting, audit, compliance, and business management. He currently serves as General Manager of Restaurant Associates (Barbados) Ltd, leading a workforce of nearly 250 employees. He holds an MBA in Finance and applies this expertise to national economic issues.

Ryan has served as Vice President of the DLP and was appointed Senator in 2024, contributing meaningfully to legislative scrutiny and governance. Deeply connected to community life, Ryan is a former athlete, event promoter, husband, and father, giving him insight into the challenges facing Barbadian families.
