Dr. David Estwick is a medical doctor and experienced public servant whose career bridges professional practice and senior national leadership. His entry to public life was driven by interest in how policy, governance, and economic decision-making directly affect the wellbeing of ordinary Barbadians.

Elected to Parliament in 2003 Dr. Estwick served through periods of economic transition and institutional reform. He held senior Cabinet responsibilities, including Minister of Economic Affairs, with responsibility for economic development, trade, industry, and innovation. He later served as Minister responsible for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, and Water Resource Management, overseeing portfolios critical to food security, sustainability, and national resilience. In these roles, he represented Barbados in regional and international policy discussions and contributed to long-term planning in areas vital to small island states.

Known for his analytical and policy-focused approach, Dr. Estwick brings knowledge, experience, and informed judgment to public life. He stands ready to serve Barbados with steadiness, clarity, and a strong commitment to national development.
